Hello all, how are we? Enjoying this gorgepus weather I hope. Yep, for those of you reading this outside of the UK then let me fill you in… We’re having a heatwave y’all!! The factor 50 is on, the summer dresses are out and pretty much every roof top bar in London has been visited.
Now it’s no secret that sunshine makes people happier. Moods are lifted and peoples general outlook on life is, well – brighter! Although I”m very much a winter baby (i love a cable knit and bobble hat) even I can’t deny the effects sunshine has on my sense of well-being. It also makes me want to inject more colour into my everyday life. Whether that’s in my wardrobe, my food or my flat. My favourite way of doing this is flowers, I basically turn my bedroom and living space into a botanical garden each summer and I love it. I’ve always loved having fresh flowers in my room, I think it’s something I get from my mum. She always has fresh flowers throughout the house and whenever she comes to visit me in London we head to a local flower market to get some beautiful blooms. Sometimes however I simply don’t have time to go to the markets and I’ve never been a huge fan of supermarket flowers (I just think they’re overpriced for what they are) so when I first heard of Bloom & Wild I was thrilled! Long story short – Bloom & Wild are a flower delivery company that deliver boxes of flowers through your door… that’s right, you don’t need to be in to collect, they simply slide straight through your post box. Game changer! You can see my the picture in this post that the flowers are stunning and the quality is super high. The mix of stems compliment eachother beautifully and they added so much colour and brightness to my room as soon as I put them in a vase. However, for all of that it of course comes at a slightly steeper price but fear not! You all know how much I bloody love a bargain (another trait I inherited from mummy dearest) and I managed to find a right corker!
VoucherCodes currently have an offer – an exclusive 22% off first orders with Bloom & Wild and then an exclusive 10% off for anyone purchasing their second order or more. The first deal is running until the end of August, with the 10% is running until the end of December so lots of time to fill your homes with some seriously gorgeous flowers. If you fancy checking it out and bagging yourself a bargain you can click HERE.I’m happy to report that we’re 6 days in and the flowers are still looking beautiful so I’m super pleased. I’ve been browsing some of the other deals on VoucherCodes and I’m amazed with how many different catogories they cover. They literally have deals for everything! Fashion, tech, music festivals – you name they’ve got a deal. My fave finds (other than Bloom & Wild of course) have been ‘up to 50% off in the AllSaints sale‘ and ‘30% off mains at Zizzi‘ but there are so many to choose from, it really is a great site for saving people money so be sure to check it out. So with that said, I hope you do go on to treat yourself to some luxury petals. I went with the Mother Of Pearl bouquet, a mix of beautiful baby pink roses and peonies, but there are so many to choose from. I think next time I’ll go for a bigger pop of colour, maybe with orange/yellow roses… basically sunshine flowers haha.I do hope you enjoyed this post and I want to say a huge thank you to VoucherCodes for collaborating with me, I love getting to work with brands and companies that I love and believe in so this was a real treat. Have a wonderful week and do let me know in the comments if you decided to treat yourself or slide into my DMs on Instagram – @littlemisswinney and share pictures of your flower arrangement!
