Eurovision – fun, friends… and JUST EAT

  Crazy, lovable…Eurovision!

There’s just something about it, the politics, the outfits, the campness and each year more and more countries singing in languages most of us can’t understand. It’s unlike standard ‘talent shows’ the normal rules don’t apply, instead the worse the better! Give me wind machines, give me key changes and give me random x-rated milkmaids (thanks Poland.)

For me there is nothing better than a night in watching terrible pop music and embarrassingly political voting with my friends.

Of course no Eurovision party is complete without a feast to go with it.

We decided on our favourite European cuisine, Italiano – pizza pizza pizza! And made a hefty takeaway order with Just Eat. We ordered from the restaurant Firezza in Brixton and got a whole heap of foodie goodness. The sides were amazing and the pizza was on point – the perfect cheese feast for the ultimate cheese fest and Just Eat makes it so easy by delivering it straight to your door!

The food was SO good, the pizza was cheesey, the chicken wings spicy and the wedges crunchy.

It was honestly such amazing quality and great value for money AND got to us within 30 minutes, which for a takeaway is pretty damn good!

Completely stuffed (with a few spare slices leftover to aid any hangovers) we continued watching the festivities – waving our flags, popping our balloons and having a totally Bitchin’ time. Highlights obviously included this years winner Portugal but for me Moldova aka #legtap and Croatia… he dueted with himself and it was EVERYTHING, showed the true spirit of Eurovision in its infamous eurotrash fashion… I cannot wait for next year!

Kx
