A funny old thing

In the words of Des’ree *sing* – ‘Life, oh life, oh lifeeeeee’… I digress.
My point is, life can be a funny old thing can’t it? When you think it’s taken a certain path and you start to get that ‘settled down’ feeling then BAM! Life throws you off course.
Now to many this may seem like a bad thing, but I reckon everything really does happen for a reason and even from the bad, be it relationship, job or living arrangement, whatever the situation I can pretty much guarantee that in the end, something pretty damn awesome will come from it all and lessons will always be learnt along the way.

I recently had this happen in my own life, my day to day for the first time in a long time was structured. I was finally given the stability (I thought) I wanted and given the direction (I thought) I needed. I won’t go into the who’s, what’s and why’s because, why bother?
Never try to impress the haters, put all your energy into impressing the people that supported you from the beginning! And aside from my friends and family, for me – that’s you guys! You absolute amazing bunch of human beings that return each week to read my mumblings. It still shocks and surprises, yet fills me with utter joy when I see my page views totting up each day and I honestly can’t thank you enough for being a part of my little online family. I see all of your comments, like and shares and I’m just so so grateful to each and every one of you.

My head, particularly over the last couple of years has been clogged up with conflicting ideas about my future. I know what I want to do and what I want to achieve yet I know it’s hard and very uncertain. In the past few months however, I’ve learnt that I’m capable of withstanding a lot more than I give myself credit for. So as I start (yet another) exciting chapter of my life, learning from each and every blip and diversion life takes me on. I can promise 100% to never make a decision based on fear again. Whether thats fear of uncertainty, fear of the unknown, fear of regret. I will continue instead to make decisions based purely on passion and ambition.

I hope you will continue to follow me on my journey. At the minute I feel so free, tied to nothing and no-one and I’m ready to go into everything life throws at me head first, sooooo… let’s do this.

Happy October!

Relate to this post so much! Feel like I'm in a constant quarter life crisis. Life in your 20's are hard and confusing but everyone feels the same. Keep doing what you're doing, I've followed you for ages and you're getting bigger and better. Xx

Hey Steph, thanks so much for reading, I really aprreicate it! You're so sweet, thanks for all the support. Yeah 20's is difficult right? I do think everyone feels the same though. We should both channel those #girlboss vibes and be fierce!xxx
