There's nothing better than spending a lazy sunday drinking tea, eating cake and exploring the beautiful parks of Angel Islington. That pretty much sums up my weekend, meeting up with the lovely Rebecca who'd I'd recently met at fashion week, we walked, we talked, having a lovely Autumnal day amongst the crunchy leaves.

Whenever the leaves start falling that's my cue to reach into the wardrobe and grab this little aztec number from Urban Outfitters. Made from wool it keeps me nice and toasty. I decided to belt it to create more of a slick silhouette and pair it with my go-to button up denim skirt.

The boots.....ah the boots, tanned leather, chunky heel and so unbelievably comfy!
H&M are brilliant for affordable footwear, these real leather boots cost £40 and get better and better with age! Boots of this style are huge this season so keep your peepers open for bargains like these ones!

Its always at this time of year I start to ponder my wardrobe decisions, take a step back and re-access the situation. I know it can be tough waving goodbye to the summer dresses and strappy sandals but lets try to embrace it, grab a coat and get going!

The coat I've chosen to help me get into that Autumnal state of mind is this french connection stunner. In burnt orange the colour screams Autumn, with the leather trim adding some serious sleek sophistication. For the rest of the outfit I'm channeling a pretty standard palette for this time of year, reds, oranges, blacks, golds, easy to mix and match and classic wardrobe staples.

I decided to team a pair of black silk culottes with this stripy high-neck to add some texture contrast, bringing it together with a thick buckle belt. For me culottes are a perfect choice for this transitional period, still showing a flash of the leg without getting too many chills!

So if you're still holding on to your summer wardrobe for dear life, take a deep breath and LET.IT.GO. You may discover some old favourites that have been hidden away.

Blouse c/o- WOLF & WHISTLE, Skirt - URBAN OUTFITTERS, Shoes - OFFICEsunglasses - RED OR DEAD

Ahhhhh Autumn has arrived, there's a chill in the air and a crunch in the leaves, yet its actually stayed suprisingly sunny.
So before I hibernate and start diving into a mountain of cable knits and cardigans. I thought I'd flash the flesh one last time and show my milky white legs one final bit of sun.

I love a floral print and I'm quite literally obsessed with this one from Wolf & Whistle. Rocking the pussybow blouse trend along with what has been this years fashion staple, an A-line button-up denim skirt. I teamed it with some cream courts and Red or Dead sunnies.
