Festival Fever - Glastonbury

Glast Off!
Glastonbury.
The mother of all festivals.
The muddy tradition for music and fashion lovers alike.
Think Wellies, denim cut-off's, flower head bands and chic boho dresses.

Cara Delevingne for Mulberry

The Cara
I spy with my little eye......a new 'IT' bag.
Yes, Miss D is at it again (is there anything this girl can't do?!)
Super model, actress and now handbag designer.
Thats right 'The Cara' is the latest addition to the Mulberry family, and dare I say, my favourite so far!

I'm a massive fan of Mulberry and a huge fan of the classic rucksack.
So with Cara's twist on the Mulberry, giving each of her designs an adjustable strap so you can turn them from tote, to crossover, to rucksack has me completely hooked!

 My favourite?
This limited edition Cara Delevinge bag in taupe, silky classic calf with lion rivets.

Officially obsessed!

The Cara collection will be available in-store and online in September.
So until then we'll just have to make do with drooling over the pictures.
I want, I want, I want!!

Summer Sale Season!!!!!

The Summer Sales 2014

It's time to sharpen those elbows guy's and doll's because the sales season has begun!
The summer sales are an ideal opportunity to invest in some key pieces and wardrobe staples, as well as some more daring pieces that will take you out of your comfort zone!
After all at a discounted price it would rude not to.
-Screen shot from 'Confessions of a shopaholic'-

There's no better feeling than seeing something you've been eyeing up through a shop
window being taken down to 30 - 50% off.
The voice in your head whispering - 'well it's only £150 but it was £300,
 its sooooo worth it right.....right?!'
The best (most sensible way) to go sale shopping, is to have in your mind or on a list exactly what you want and how much you're willing to spend on it.
Don't get me wrong the sales are practically made for the last minute compulsive buys, but if you go with a list your more likely to get something you actually want!

Take a look at my picks!

 I've bought a few pieces already...oops!
After visiting my home town up North, I popped into my all time favourite boutique 'Think Bubbles' and picked myself up this super cute summer dress by MinkPink, and these amazing
70's inspired Ash shoes.
All half price, makes Little Miss Winney a very happy lady!

So go!
Fly my fashion beauties!
Go forth and grab the best bargains you can, because let's be honest the feeling when you're walking down the street carrying a handful of shopping bags, its hard not to feel like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman!

"You work on commission?
Big mistake
Big
Huge!"

Royal Ascot 2014

Ascot
Royal ascot. As famous for its racing as it is it's fashion.
Milliners (that's hat makers to you and me) have the world
hooked on their latest creations.
From the classic, the daring to the down right crazy, these ladies demand attention.

"Every duke and earl and peer is here.
Every one who should be here is here.
What a smashing, positively dashing spectacle-
The Ascot opening day."

-Seriously patriotic-

-Cake anyone?-

-The Queen celebrating a win at this year's race-

-Some opt for simple and classic like this beautiful monochrome number-

-Others go for a literal representation of the races-

-Pimms o'clock-

Whatever the style, the annual five day racing event held in Berkshire, England never disappoints!
